Ekta Kapoor who is gearing up for the comeback of her hit series ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay‘ explains why she was blushing when next to Shah Rukh Khan.
Ekta said she has been asked his question plenty of time and now wants to set the record straight. Tweeting on Thursday she wrote, “A lot of ppl asked me why I was blushing! In the Kasautii Zindagii Kay promo that aired on television and on other social media channels, SRK can be seen praising the filmmaker and producer while he introduces the next generation characters of hit series.
Ekta recently announced a new project titled, ‘Jabariya Jodi’ starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra.
The film is said to be based on pakadwa vivaah . In Bhojpuri, jabariya means forced so the title refers to a couple who are forced to get married. Sidharth will be seen playing a Bihari thug. Directed by Prashant Singh, Jabariya Jodi is co-presented by Balaji Telefilms and Karma Media Entertainment.
Her upcoming release is ‘Laila Majnu’, directed by Sajid Ali and co- presented by Imtiaz and Ekta Kapoor. The film will hit screens on 7th September.
