Astrology 2021: Message of the Day (January 31)

Message of the Day – By Renooji

31.01.2021

Everything in the universe belongs to the Divine. We must express our love for the Divine daily. Healing the self and others is an essential aspect of our spiritual self in touch with the Divine.

From the point of view of the essential and inner realities and consciousness, it appears that healing the self is spiritually the basis of life. Healing is meant to express the soul of things and since the true soul element is the divine element in all of us, then certainly we must heal on. Spirituality and the healed self become a discipline in conscious contact with the Spirit of the Healing Consciousness. Spirituality is the greatest and the most difficult gift for the soul to refuse. Heal diligently to make life perfect, beautiful, pure in the light, faultless in its rhythm, strengthening the iridescent light, vibrant with the delightful light, an embodiment of the Divine. In one word the highest ideal of spirituality.  Healing hugs of deep insight. Love from the heart of the light.
Renooji.

Farmers Protest Live Updates: Heightened security continues at the Singhu border; next meeting with Centre on Feb 2

New Delhi: Heightened security deployment has continued at the Singhu border (Delhi-Haryana border) as farmers’ protest against three agriculture laws entered the 67th day on Sunday. The next round of talks between the farmers and the Centre is scheduled for February 2.

While the protest at Ghazipur border by the farmers (Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border) has entered Day 65. Security has been beefed up as more farmers are coming to the protest site for the past two-three days.

“Government is changing the goal-post. It is a bad thing. They are not taking any decision. The government should repeal the laws. It will be better for the farmers and the government,” Shyam, a protesting farmer at Ghazipur border told ANI.

Another farmer Ram Beer Singh said, “We will not accept the proposal. We will continue to protest. We have not done anything bad and we want the repeal of the laws.”

Protestors were seen raising slogans against the central government. They were demanding the repeal of farm laws.

They were also seen sitting on ‘relay hunger strike’.

farmers protest - Rakesh Tikait

“Since December 22, 2020, we are organising relay hunger where 11 farmers sit on hunger strike for 24 hours. Farmers are ready for talks with the government if they have good intention. We are always ready for talks,” Tajinder Singh Virk, a farmer leader said.

To ‘maintain public safety and averting public emergency’, the Union Home Ministry has temporarily suspended internet services at the three borders and their adjoining areas from 11 pm of January 29 to 11 pm of January 31. The Haryana government has also extended the suspension of internet services in 17 districts till 5 pm on January 31. The Delhi Police has also closed the NH-24 route.

During all party-meeting on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated that the proposal of government given to farmers on January 22 still stands and should be communicated to all by the leaders of the political parties.

PM Modi has also said that Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar was just a phone call away for protestors.

On January 22, during the 11th round of talks with protesting farmers, the government proposed to suspend the new legislations for one-and-a-half years and also proposed to set up a joint committee to discuss the Acts.

The tension between the government and farmers protesting the farm laws has escalated after the violence which broke out in various parts of the national capital during the farmers’ tractor rally on Republic Day.

On Republic Day, protestors did not follow the prearranged route and broke barricades to enter Delhi, clashed with police and vandalised property in several parts of the national capital during the farmers’ tractor rally organised to protest against the Centre’s three new farm laws. They also entered the Red Fort and unfurled their flags from its ramparts.

Farmers have been protesting at different borders of the national capital since November 26, 2020, against the farm laws: Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and the Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.

Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ gets premiere date: Here’s where to watch

New Delhi: Good news for all the DC superheroes fans! The release date for Snyder Cut is finally out and viewers won’t have to wait much longer to watch director Zack Snyder’s true vision for ‘Justice League’.

Director Zack Snyder’s version of the 2017 DC Comics superhero film ‘Justice League’ will premiere on HBO Max on March 18, WarnerMedia announced on Friday.

WarnerMedia also released three brand new posters for the Snyder Cut on Friday. “Zack Snyder’s Justice League premieres March 18 exclusively on HBO Max. #SnyderCut,” read a tweet by HBO Max’s official Twitter handle.

‘Justice League’ featured DC Comics’ greatest heroes for the first time ever on the big screen. Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), the Flash (Ezra Miller), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) had joined forces to prevent the supervillain Steppenwolf from destroying the Earth.

However, the 2017 film mostly got negative reviews from critics and comic book fans alike, which was primarily helmed by Joss Whedon after Snyder had to drop out due to a family emergency, reported Variety.

Many viewers noticed the tonal shifts between the directors and called for the release of the rumoured Snyder Cut — a version of the film with Snyder’s vision, with rumours of its existence being shared across social media.

Zack Snyder's 'Justice League' gets premiere date: Here's where to watch

As per Variety, Warner Bros. confirmed that Snyder Cut was real in May 2020, announcing that it was coming to HBO Max sometime in 2021. Snyder has teased some details of his cut to the fans and revealed that the new film will be four hours long, twice as long as the original.

Chris Terrio wrote the screenplay for the Snyder Cut, with the story by Terrio, Snyder, and Will Beall. Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas, Wesley Coller, Jim Rowe, Curtis Kanemoto, Terrio, and Affleck are executive producers on the film, while Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producers.

The original ‘Justice League’ made headlines in the past months after actor Ray Fisher, who played the role of Cyborg in the film, accused director Joss Whedon of abusive and unprofessional behaviour while working on set.

WarnerMedia had launched an investigation into his claims and ended it in December 2020 by taking remedial action, though details of what was found in the investigation have been kept under wraps, as per Variety.

Fisher had publicly stated that he will not work with DC Films President Walter Hamada ever again and that his role in the standalone ‘Flash’ movie has been cut.

Israel Embassy blast: CCTV footage shows two men getting out of the cab, police investigating involvement

New Delhi: A CCTV footage of the Israel Embassy blast site has revealed that a cab had dropped two persons near the embassy and it is yet to be ascertained whether these persons have any role in the explosion, according to Delhi Police sources.

The Delhi Police Special Cell has contacted the concerned cab driver and enquired about the two persons. Police are drawing out the pictures of the two persons on the basis of inputs gathered from the cab driver.

The police are on high alert following the Israel Embassy low-intensity blast and sources have confirmed that ammonium nitrate was used for the explosion. Sources have also said this blast may be a trial of some “bigger conspiracy”.

Israel Embassy blast: CCTV footage shows two men getting out of the cab, police investigating involvement

“The forensic team has got evidence of the usage of ammonium nitrate for the blast which caused a small trench at the site,” sources said, adding that if RDX was used then the impact would have been higher.

Police have also recovered a separate CCTV footage, a half-burnt pink scarf and an envelope addressed to Israel Ambassador from the blast site, sources said.

Police also found a camera hidden behind a tree near the blast site. In the footage retrieved from the camera, the timestamp was of the year 1970 but the content is not clear and police are investigating it to ascertain information.

The envelope that was found from the spot was found around 12 yards away from the blast site and police sources have said that the letter was addressed to the Israel Ambassador. Police are tracing its fingerprints and examining its contents.

A low-intensity explosion took place near the Israel Embassy this evening. No injuries have been reported in the incident so far. Windscreens of several cars parked in the vicinity of the Embassy on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Road were found damaged.

The explosion took place not far from Vijay Chowk, where several VVIPS including President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in attendance during the ‘Beating Retreat’ ceremony.

The Special Cell is investigating the blast and according to Delhi Police sources, the preliminary investigation has suggested a mischievous act with the aim to spread panic. Security has been increased in and around the area. An alert has also been issued at all airports, important installations, and government buildings in view of the blast. Enhanced security measures have been put in place, the Central Industrial Security Force said.

The Mumbai Police is also on high alert after the incident and security has been stepped up across the city. There is also a high alert in Uttar Pradesh after the incident in Delhi.

President Ram Nath Kovind to address the members of both the Houses of Parliament

New Delhi: The budget session of Parliament will begin on Friday with President Ram Nath Kovind addressing members of both the Houses seated in three different locations for the first time as part of precautions against COVID-19.

A Rajya Sabha press release said that 144 members of Parliament will be seated in the Central Hall including the council of ministers, chairpersons of various committees of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, leaders of different parties and groups in both the Houses, former Prime Ministers and national presidents of BJP and Congress.

The remaining members of Parliament will be seated in the chambers of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha as per the COVID-induced physical distancing norms.

The release said that Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu has taken COVID test ahead of the session and several members of the upper House have also taken the test.

It said 1,209 officials and staff of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat have also been administered COVID test as part of the preparations for the budget session which is the second to be held under COVID-19 restrictions after the monsoon session last year.

The release said that 715 officials and staff of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat, who are not directly connected with the proceedings of the House have been administered antigen tests while 494 associated with the proceedings of the House have been administered RT PCR tests.

“None have tested positive in the antigen tests and results of RT PCR tests are expected today. This is in sharp contrast to 64 officials and staff of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat having tested positive ahead of the Monsoon Session last year,” the release said.

The Rajya Sabha Chairman, who reviewed in detail preparations for the budget session on Wednesday, has given directions that personal staff of ministers, members of Rajya Sabha and officers of the ministries visiting Parliament shall also be tested for coronavirus.

The budget session will have 33 sittings and the union budget will be presented for the first time in conditions created by COVID-19.

Rajya Sabha will have both Zero Hour and Question Hour during the session.

Question Hour will begin at 9.30 am. Zero Hour and Question Hour were not taken up during the monsoon session last year as the House met for only four hours per day, the release said.

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian reveals the popular show Keeping Up With The Kardashians started as a filler programme. She claims the pilot didn’t go anywhere at first.

“I think we shot a pilot or something for (Ryan Seacrest) and it didn’t go anywhere,” Khloe said on The Kelly Clarkson Show, reports aceshowbiz.com.

Khloe Kardashian added that they were given a chance after “a show on (the American channel) E! fell through, so they needed something to fill this dead air time”.

“They were like, ‘You’re getting on the show, start filming, you’re getting on the air, like, in two weeks. We were so excited,” Khloe Kardashian recalled.

Khloe said that she and her family were told not to get too excited. She added that a member from the production team had said: “Don’t get too comfortable here. It’s, like, just filler.”

Khloe Kardashian was grateful that it was how they began.

“I actually really appreciate that because we were just thinking, ‘Oh, we’re not gonna have a season two, let’s just film, it’s fun, let’s just be ourselves. This isn’t gonna go anywhere’,” she said.

Khloe, Kim Kardashian’s sister, added: “We had no pressure on ourselves… We didn’t even have time to think about it; to really, like, have any pre-conceived, fake anything. It was just who we are on the fly and I think that’s what made the show so good…we just weren’t thinking.”

“And it turned out that was probably the best thing to happen to us because it was so, I think, relatable and realistic to some people,” Khloe Kardashian said.

The final season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will air this year. Kim Kardashian had made the announcement on Instagram in September.

Billie Eilish Says Her Crazy Fans Would ‘Kiss, Pick Her Up & Spin Around’

What's stopping Billie Eilish from going to wild parties

Singer Billie Eilish says she hasn’t had the opportunity to go to wild parties because of her fame. The 19-year-old singer also admits to being a teetotaler.

‘I’m not out there going to parties and also I’m me, so I can’t really go…anywhere. But it’s okay!” Billie said in an interview to Vanity Fair, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Billie Eilish admitted that there was a time when she used to have a “feeling of superiority” over her friends who would smoke and take drugs when they were younger.

Billie Eilish added, “When I was growing up and I was around my group of friends back then, and they would all be drinking and smoking and doing drugs and whatever, I think because of the way that my personality is – I’m a very strong-willed person, and I think at the time I was very alpha — I’m coming to realise that I may have felt a feeling of superiority.”

The No Time To Die singer shared that she has been left in “weird situations” by her fans.

“(The devotion) makes you kind of crazy. We all know the feeling of seeing yourself and being like, What is going on with me, I’m acting insane,” Billie Eilish said.

“When you’re excited about something, you forget boundaries and you forget what’s polite and what’s kind of not polite. I’ve had a lot of weird situations — people will kiss me and pick me up, spin me around…. It is definitely important to have the boundaries and also have people around you that can help in a situation like that,” she said.

“I never want to push away somebody that’s showing me only love. And even if it’s coming from a place of crazy love, I don’t ever want to push that too far away,” Billie Eilish added.
