Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool 3 In Marvel’s Universe, Describes ‘Free Guy’ As A Hybrid Of Fortnite & GTA

Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool 3 In Marvel's Universe, Describes 'Free Guy' As A Hybrid Of Fortnite & GTA
Ryan Reynolds Teases Deadpool 3 In Marvel’s Universe, Describes ‘Free Guy’ As A Hybrid Of Fortnite & GTA

‘Deadpool’ Ryan Reynolds is one busy actor as he has so many projects lined up. In a lockdown chat with Jimmy Fallon, he opened about Deadpool 3, his equation with Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock and much more.

He has films like Free Guy, The Croods 2, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, and Red Notice in his bag. As Deadpool 3 is Marvel’s kid now, Ryan Reynolds teases his fans yet again but this time it’s more intense.

On Deadpool 3, Ryan said, “If Deadpool were to be in the MCU, what a sandbox to play in. There’s a lot more story to tell.” He’s not just part of the film as the titular actor, he’s also backing the franchise.

Apart from Deadpool 3, he gave us the most interesting update about his upcoming action-comedy titled Free Guy. Choosing an interesting set of words, he said the film is a “hybrid of Fortnite and GTA. I’m hoping it’s released sooner or later.”

About his on-hold Netflix film Red Notice which also stars Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot, he said, “I’ve known Dwayne for like 15 years. So we tend to spend time trying to make each other laugh, which is a really irresponsible thing to do with Netflix, their money.”

Check out a part of his interview below:

Ryan Reynolds recently came up with a very unique way to advertise his Mint Mobile company. The advertisement filled with self-humour found a fan in ‘Captain America’ Chris Evans as he couldn’t stop singing praises about the same.

Chris Evans had tweeted about his ad saying, “How is he able to single-handedly jiu-jitsu any circumstance into a perfect marketing campaign?? I’m gonna go switch my plan while I try to figure this out.”

Stranger Things 4: David Harbour Shares Interesting Scoop About Jim Hopper Being Alive & What To Expect Of His Character

In Stranger Things 3, when David Harbour aka Jim Hopper died, fans were heartbroken. However, the end credits scene of the last episode gave a clue that Hopper might be alive. In February, the makers released a promo of Stranger Things 4 in which he was alive in Russia.

From the day the promo was released, fans have been having numerous queries. The first one being – What is Jim Hopper doing in Russia? Well, only the fourth season of Stranger Things will answer that question. But actor David Harbour has shared some interesting scoop about his character in the next season.

As reported by WeGotThisCovered, before attending the Liverpool Comic-Con this year, the Stranger Things actor opened up about his character. The Extraction actor shared, “So there are these three things that we’ve established in the season that if we don’t pay off, it means that they’re bad writers. And the Duffer brothers are very good writers. So I know specifically that in Season 4 we will give you a big, huge reveal about Hopper’s backstory.”

He added, “It’s one of the things that I’ve known since the first frame of the first shot, and we haven’t expressed it yet. And finally, we’re gonna express it in a big way. It’s my favourite thing about him that you guys don’t know about him yet, but it has to do with these backstories of New York, Vietnam, and dad. And I’m really excited for you guys to know more about that, and it relates, of course, to things he’s doing with Eleven and Joyce and things like that.”

We can’t wait to know what the big revelations will be. People who have seen Stranger Things know that Jim Hopper lost his daughter Sara to cancer. One can hope to see his loving side as a father to Sara and much more.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Stranger Things 4 was stopped in March this year due to the lockdown. The series is expected to be out next summer. But the delay in the shooting is expected to affect the release date.

Space Force Trailer OUT! Steve Carell’s Mark Picks Something Straight Out Of How I Met Your Mother & We’re Already ROFLing

Space Force Trailer OUT! Steve Carell's Mark Picks Something Straight Out Of How I Met Your Mother & We're Already ROFLing
Space Force Trailer OUT! Steve Carell’s Mark Picks Something Straight Out Of How I Met Your Mother & We’re Already ROFLing

Space Force Trailer OUT! Steve Carell or many here would know him as our very own Michael from The Office, is back yet again with the same makers for Space Force. Over the years, The Office has gained popularity as a cult workplace comedy and many claim it as the best we’ve.

Space Force is in a similar zone and it revolves around the sixth branch of the armed services known as Space Force. Several sources note that the idea for the project was sparked by Donald Trump’s June order to establish a space force as the sixth military branch.

The trailer introduces Mark (Steve Carell) as the newly honoured four-star general who has been allotted to lead the Space Force. Mark takes this a joke at first but things get serious and he realises that he’s stuck with this assignment.

Check out the trailer below:

There’s a scene in the trailer in which we see Steve Carell’s Mark singing The Beach Boys’ Kokomo. Now, if you guys remember, it’s the same song Neil Patrick Harris’ Barney sings during the hilarious telepathic conversation scene with Josh Radnor’s Ted in How I Met Your Mother.

FRIENDS‘ Phoebe Lisa Kudrow will recur in the series as Maggie Naird, the wife of Carell’s Gen. Mark R. Naird. She is a Washington Air Force wife who has sublimated parts of herself to her husband’s career for two decades.

Here’s the official premise of the show:

“A decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star Gen. Mark. R. Naird is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the U.S. Armed Forces: Space Force. Sceptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colourful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance.”

As per the reports, Steve Carell is bagging $1 Million per episode which includes his fees as the actor, co-creator and executive producer. If we go by the reports, this is a new record beating the previous one held by the cast members of The Big Bang Theory.

Wider availability of non-alcoholic drinks may reduce liquor consumption: Study

Washington DC [USA]: A recent study shows that people are more likely to opt for non-alcoholic drinks if more of them are available than alcoholic drinks.

A team of researchers at the NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre and the Universities of Bristol and Cambridge, UK found that when presented with eight drink options, participants were 48 per cent more likely to choose a non-alcoholic drink when the proportion of non-alcoholic drink options increased from four (50 per cent) to six (75 per cent).

alcohol

When the proportion of non-alcoholic drink options decreased from four to two (25 per cent), participants were 46 per cent less likely to choose a non-alcoholic drink. The study was published in the open-access journal BMC Public Health.

Dr Anna Blackwell, the corresponding author, said, “Alcohol consumption is among the top five risk factors for disease globally. Previous research has shown that increasing the availability of healthier food options can increase their selection and consumption relative to less healthy food. To our knowledge, this is the first study to demonstrate that increasing the availability of non-alcoholic drinks, relative to alcoholic drinks in an online scenario, can increase their selection.”

Participants in the study completed an online task in which they were presented with a selection of alcoholic beer, non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. The drink selections included four alcoholic and four non-alcoholic drinks, six alcoholic and two non-alcoholic drinks or two alcoholic and six non-alcoholic drinks. As many as 808 UK residents with an average age of 38 years, who regularly consumed alcohol, participated in the study.

Excessive consumption of alcohol during lockdown can weaken immune system

When presented with mostly non-alcoholic drinks, 49 per cent of participants selected a non-alcoholic drink, compared to 26 per cent of participants who selected a non-alcoholic drink when presented with most alcoholic drinks.

These results were consistent regardless of the time participants had to make their decision, indicating that the findings were not dependent on the amount of time and attention participants were able to devote to their drink choice. The findings suggest that interventions to encourage healthier food and drink choices may be most effective when changing the relative availability of healthier and less-healthy options.

Blackwell said, “Many licensed venues already offer several non-alcoholic options but these are often stored out of direct sight, for example in low-level fridges behind the bar. Our results indicate that making these non-alcoholic products more visible to customers may influence them to make healthier choices.”

“The market for alcohol-free beer, wine and spirit alternatives is small but growing and improving the selection and promotion of non-alcoholic drinks in this way could provide an opportunity for licensed venues to reduce alcohol consumption without losing revenue,” he added.

The authors caution that as the study measured hypothetical drink selection online, results may differ in real-world settings.

Further studies are needed to determine how the relative availability of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks impacts the purchasing and consumption of alcohol in real life. (ANI)

I hope you will go for the ball pujji: Virat Kohli teases Pujara

New Delhi: India skipper Virat Kohli on Tuesday teased ace batsman Cheteshwar Pujara by sharing a throwback picture from a Test match against Australia.

In the photograph , the skipper can be seen taking a one-handed blinder at second slip while Pujara glances at Kohli from a fair distance.

The Indian captain wanted Pujara to be fit before the first practice session of the team once the coronavirus enforced nationwide lockdown is lifted.

“First session after lockdown be like ?? @cheteshwar1 I hope you will go for the ball pujji,” Kohli tweeted.

Pujara who has played 77 Test matches came up with a witty response and said,” Yes captain, and I shall catch it with both hands @virat.kohli.”

Indian skipper Kohli is widely hailed as the run-machine and has many records under his belt.

In 86 Test matches, he had 7,240 runs studded with 27 centuries and 22 half-centuries. In 248 ODIs, he has amassed 11,867 runs with an average of 59.33.

In the shortest format of the game, he has played 82 games in which he slammed 2,794 runs at an average of 50.80 with the help of 24 fifties.

On the other, Pujara has been a key cog in the batting wheel of team India in the longest format of the game. He has amassed 5840 runs at an average of 48.66.

Both cricketers are currently spending time with their families as the COVID-19 pandemic as brought all sporting action across the world to a grinding halt.

Kohli would have been in action for Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) had the Indian Premier League (IPL) commenced from March 29.

However, the tournament has been suspended indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic. (ANI)

Being a fitness enthusiast I try to work on all my body parts right from the starting of the week. Monday is quite a tough day of the week, so I usually do Arms and Biceps then on Tuesday-Chest and triceps, Wednesday-Back, Thursday-Cardio and abs, Friday-Shoulders then on Saturday-Legs. Anil Kapoor On ‘One Of The Many Things’ He’ll Always Remember About Irrfan Khan

Anil Kapoor has opened up about a magical trait of late actor Irrfan Khan. The veteran actor feels his “Slumdog Millionaire” co-star Irrfan had the capability to make everyone around him smile just with his own infectious smile!

Sharing throwback photos of “Slumdog Millionaire”s Oscar winning moments, Anil Kapoor expressed on Instagram: “These pictures bring back so many memories! There was something about his smile that would instantly make everyone around him smile… One of the many things I’ll always remember about Irrfan.”

Not just Anil Kapoor, many from the industry agree that Irrfan Khan’s smile cast similar spell on many industry colleagues. After the actor’s demise last Wednesday, filmmaker Nikkhil Advani had tweeted: “@irrfank I remember you asked me why I never said “ok” to your takes and I said I did not deserve to ever judge them. Devastated. Just gutted. You defined the way I look at cinema. Your smile is still imprinted every time I think of you. #RIP Sir. Prayers and condolences Sutapa.”

While Advani has directed Irrfan Khan in his 2013 action-thriller “D-Day”, Anil Kapoor has shared the screen with him in the 2005 potboiler “Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets” apart from Danny Boyle’s multiple-Oscar winning “Slumdog Millionaire” in 2009. Irrfan Khan was last seen in Angrezi Medium. The film was just in theatres for one day because the lockdown was implemented post that. It also starred Deepak Dobriyal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Radhika Madaan in pivotal roles. There were talks about the re-release of the film but it went straight to digital.
