Akshay Kumar all set for the release of ‘GOLD’.

Watch out people cause Akshay Kumar’s much-awaited movie is all set to release on 15th of August 2018 in theatres. No more waiting to feel the magic and relive the proud moment. Reema Kagti directorial movie ‘GOLD’ will make you go through the tussle of several Indians under British rule with one dream in their eyes.

The movie is all set to make its way towards the theatres on 15th of August 2018. The movie is starring Akshay Kumar and opposite to the star, there is the Bengali beauty, the diva herself Mouni Roy. The star cast also includes Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Nikita Dutta etc.

Director Reema Kagti made her full effort to recreate the moments that were lived, back in 1948. The story of GOLD outlines the historic moment of 12th August 1948 and on this exact date this year it commemorates 70th-anniversary of the epic struggle. It depicts the dream and struggle of Indian Hockey Team who wanted to win gold for their nation but not under the name of “British India” but in the name of “free and Independent India”. But soon after the independence, they realized that they got freedom but there was no team left. Their dreams started shattering but they refused to give up and reformed the team with the best they had.

They were refused, neglected and underestimated but all of these couldn’t weaken them but made their motives even stronger. They didn’t want their flag under British rule they wanted to sing the national anthem, not the “long live the king”. It is a story of revenge for 200 years of exploitation.
