Delhi Violence: Death toll rises to 17, security personnel deployed in these areas

Four more dead bodies were brought to GTB hospital confirmed hospital sources on Wednesday morning taking the total death toll to 17 in the violence in Delhi’s northeast area.

Till last night about 150 injured were brought to the hospital.

Security personnel is deployed in these areas.

The protesters left the metro station last night.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation: Entry and exit gates at all stations have been opened. Normal services have resumed at all stations.
National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval leaves from the office of Deputy Commissioner of Police North-East in Seelampur to review the security situation in different parts of North-East Delhi, on the intervening night of 25-26 February.

Police dispersed the people who had gathered outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence demanding action against Delhi Violence and seeking restoration of peace.
