5 Museums From Around The World You Need To Put On Your Bucket List RN

The world would be such a sad place if art never existed, don’t you think? Museums are literally places housing art and beauty, in large quantities. Some people are of the opinion that museums are highly underrated and I totally second that. They offer so much more than just visual pleasure. And, spending the day at a museum feels much better than it sounds. Which is why I picked out the 5 most beautiful museums that we all should be adding to our bucket list for this year. Read on to find out which of the museums made it to the list!

1. Vatican Museums, Italy

One look at this museum and you’ll understand why it has no less than five million tourists coming in every year! The museum has a famous, one of a kind staircase which is designed by Giuseppe Momo. It beautifully spirals down to the museum’s exit.

2. Royal Ontario Museum, Canada

This history, world culture and art museum dates back to the start of the 20th century. It also welcomes as much as 1 million visitors every year with open arms. This museum is also known to be the largest museum in Canada. It was originally designed with bricks and terracotta, which is now the west wing of the museum.

3. Uffizi Gallery, Italy

If you thought the beauty of a museum lies inside it, make sure you visit this museum in Italy to prove yourself wrong. The stately windows and symmetrical columns make the museum look extraordinary from the outside! Usually, when the museum closes at the end of the day, couples and families come out and take a stroll in the area.

4. Hermitage Museum, Russia

This art and culture museum is actually the second-largest museum in the world! The museum houses as many as 2.7 million artworks in its halls, all in gold and green. It is situated gracefully on the banks of the Neva River and looks like a city of art, TBH! And the first collection of the museum was founded by Catherine the Great in 1764, which adds all the more beauty to it.

5. Erawan Museum, Thailand

If you thought Thailand was all about beaches, you’re wrong buddy! Erawan—the name of the museum is actually derived from Hindu mythology and refers to a three-headed elephant. You can find a five-story sculpture of the same at the museum. Keep an eye out for the beautiful stained-glass ceilings and the antiques.

Which one of these museums do you plan to visit first? Let us know in the comments below.
