After getting delayed by a days, finally the much awaited titled track of Kalak is out and it is beautiful, grandeur and finest song from the entire music album!
Alia Bhatt dropped the single on her social media profile. She captioned it, “#Kalank nahi, ishq hai #KalankTitleTrack out now – @duttsanjay #AdityaRoyKapur @Varun_dvn @sonakshisinha @MadhuriDixit @abhivarman @ipritamofficial #ArijitSingh @OfficialAMITABH @ZeeMusicCompany”
The title track is from the celebrated team of Pritam, Amitabh Bhattacharya and Arijit Singh along with additional vocals from Shilpa Rao.
The song features the entire ensemble of Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Aditya Roy Kapur, Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt and for the first time we get to witness Kunal Khemu making an appearance in the song. The song is shot beautifully and the sets are just breathtakingly beautiful.
Kalank, which is an intense love story set against the Partition, was conceptualised by Karan Johar and his father Yash Johar around fifteen years ago. Actress Sridevi was initially signed for the character role played by Madhuri Dixit.
Sajid Nadiadwala, owner and producer of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Karan Johar’s home productions Dharma Films along with Fox Star Studios are bankrolling the film.
The film is scheduled to open in theatres on April 17.
