New Delhi: Karti Chidambaram’s wife-Srinidhi Chidambaram hit out at Tamil Nadu BJP on Tuesday after Tamil Nadu BJP tweeted a five-minute video of her dancing to ‘SemMozhi’ – a song written by the late former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.
Srinidhi Chidambaram is an acclaimed artist and a medical professional.
Taking a jibe at BJP, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee said, “we understand ‘consent’ is a difficult concept for you to understand.”
“Dear @BJP4TamilNadu, we understand ‘consent’ is a difficult concept for you to understand, but you cannot use Mrs Srinidhi Karti Chidambaram’s image without her permission. All you’ve done is prove that your campaign is full of lies & propaganda,” the state Congress unit said.

This comes after Tamil Nadu BJP unit used a clip of Srinidhi Chidambaram’s Bharatnatyam dance in its election promotion video with an aim to promote BJP’s manifesto where they tried highlighting the state’s culture.
