New Delhi: Team India on Sunday won by 35 runs against New Zealand in 5th ODI at Westpac Stadium, Wellington. With this win, India won the five match series by 4-1.
In today’s game the Men in Blue batted first and scored 252 runs. It was a difficult start for India as the openers were dismissed cheaply and it was Rayudu who played a solid innings of 90 runs. He was supported by Vijay Shankar and Kedar Jadhav with decent scores. In the end, Hardik Pandya scored quick runs to help India reach a respectable score.
New Zealand started their chase well but lost wickets at regular intervals. Spinner Chahal picked 3 wickets while Shami and Pandya bagged two wickets each.
