Rajkummar Rao says it is our responsibility to save the earth and make it a better planet.

Rajkummar Rao interacted with media alongside Kapil Sharma at the SBI Green Marathon flag off on Sunday in Mumbai.

Talking about the Green Marathon and the initiative taken Rajkummar said, “It is a great initiative I think health is most important. Especially in today’s time when the pollution is increasing and there is so much adulteration of food, it is hard to eat right. This is a great initiative by Radio Mirchi, SBI and Bhamla Foundation.

They are not only making people aware about keeping themselves healthy but also about keeping their environment clean and healthy. It is our responsibility to save the earth and make it a better planet.”

Rajkummar who has become a style and fitness icon with his transformations for different roles, says you at least need to work out 30 minutes a day.

Asked about his own routine and how he finds the time to keep healthy he said, “Definitely, I run almost every day, or 6 days a week. It is important not only for my health but also my profession. We have to be fit, or else media will only say Rajkummar Rao is gaining weight like crazy. (laughs). I actually love running it is very addictive, once you start you can’t stop.

He believes it is important to stay active, “Let it be whatever you like, gym,  yoga, outdoor activities. But you should dedicate at least 30 minutes of the day to any kind of physical activity.”

Rajkummar was last seen in the horror comedy ‘Stree’ alongside, Shraddha Kapoor in 2018 and will appear in ‘Made in China’ with ‘Gold’ debutant Mouni Roy.
He also has future projects at hand like, ‘Mental Hai Kya’ wit Queen star Kangana Ranaut and “‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’ with Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
