The Astitva and The Mid Night Diary are organizing a storytelling event- ‘Kathakaar’ in Delhi’s Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts, Saket on 5 May at 4:00 PM with ChocoPal as their gifting partner and Fankaarz as the digital partner.
The event is one of its kinds as it will be a blend of storytelling and theatrical performances by Ahmad Faraz, Kanchan Dixit and Afreen Akhtar.
The event will be hosted by Mrinal Mandal and the opening act will be by Herok Pal who will act through his story. Ahmed Faraz, a former RJ, a writer and a storyteller will perform a unique piece with an act for the very first time.
Afreen Akhtar, a storyteller and an activist who has already performed at TedX, UN Women’s “Orange the World”, The Wire’s second Anniversary event. She has already won the heart of many with her fantastic stories, “Kya Aapko Yaad Hai, “Dupatta” and “Afroz” and is all set to create magic again at Kathakaar.
Gaurang Sahu and Deepti Negi, who are very versatile musicians, who can play many instruments will also be there to provide a depth to the stories with his music.
The event also provides spots to the audience who have registered and will come on the day of the event. The winner will be chosen from the event and will be given prizes and gift vouchers.
