Priyanka Chopra was among early voter and shared a candid selfie on her social media about polling and importance of voting. She wrote, “This is the moment that matters…Every vote is a voice that counts. #LokSabhaElections2019”
Apart from Priyanka Chopra, Bollywood celebrities such as veteran actress Rekha, Paresh Rawal, Ravi Kishan and many more turned up at respective polling booth to cast their vote phase 4 polling for Lok Sabha Elections 2019.
Mean while on the work front, Chopra will next reunite with Farhan Akhtar to play the parents of Aisha Chaudhary, a teenage motivational speaker who died of pulmonary fibrosis, in Shonali Bose’s biographical drama The Sky Is Pink.
Chopra has also committed to star alongside Mindy Kaling in a comedy about an Indian-American wedding, and will portray the lawyer Vanita Gupta in Gordan’s courtroom drama Tulia, an adaptation of a non-fiction book Tulia: Race, Cocaine, and Corruption (2005) based on the 1999 racial injustice case that took place in the city of the same name.
She is also producing over a dozen regional films in various languages under her production company, and is developing a sitcom for ABC based on the life of Madhuri Dixit, for which she will serve as an executive producer.
