Varun Dhawan is definitely coolest and most bankable star in current lot, not to mention, superbly talented. He is an amazing ability to transform himself completely for the role, be it dancing and singing romantic boy in ABCD 2 or Badrinath Ki Dulhania, or dark mystifying revenge seeker in Badlapur, he has done it all and with remarkable success at the box-office.
Currently, Varun is busy with Sui Dhaaga, which also stars Anushka Sharma in the lead. The film is directed by Sharat Katariya, under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
The film is based on the Make in India campaign launched by the Indian government in 2014, which was aimed at promoting the country’s indigenous textile industries. Dhawan plays the role of a tailor and a peon, and Anushka Sharma an embroiderer.
Post that, Varun will kick-start the shoot for Kalank, which is a period drama film directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. It stars Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
