After winning Bigg Boss 11 and millions of fans all across the country, Shilpa Shinde has decided to move on to newer avenues in life. She recently announced that she will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket.
Shilpa has reportedly joined the party but doesn’t know yet the constituency from where she will contest the elections. As per a report in Mid-Day, the actress chose the Congress party because her father also belonged to the same party and was good friends with Sharad Pawar and Sushil Kumar Shinde.
We wish her all the best for this new endeavour in her life.
