Hope industry comes up with an equal and genderless constructive system says, Radhika Apte.

Radhika Apte who has been very vocal about her support for the Me Too movement in India says she hopes that the industry comes up with a constructive system which is equal and genderless.

Radhika was present at the Daniel Wellington’s festive season celebration on Wednesday in Mumbai.

At the event, the actress addressed the Bollywood’s biggest movement yet, the #Me Too wave.

She said, “As an industry, we are trying to come together and find a way of constructively making a system where we all have a safe environment and it’s going on. I am part of that and I hope that we come up with a constructive system which is equal and genderless for every human being.”

Apte indirectly has also been pulled into the big movement with her association with Kwan Entertainment. The owner of the most well-known celebrity management agencies in India has been accused of seeking sexual favors by four aspiring actresses anonymously.

When asked Radhika if she will separate herself from the company she said, “I am completely and closely in contact with them. They are making sure that everyone who is involved with the agency is updated. They have issued another statement saying that he has 100% step down. I am a 100% supporter of MeToo. There is an investigation going on currently, and whatever happens, we will see.

The people who are associated with Kwan have helped me and I have a great relationship with them. They are taking all required action as we all support the (#MeToo) movement.”

Radhika Apte last appeared in  ‘AndhaDhun’ alongside, Ayuhsmann Khurrana and Tabu.

The film produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Matchbox Pictures released on 5th October 2018 and since has received love from critics and audience alike.
