Released on the occasion of Independence day, the Milap Zaveri movie Satyameva Jayate is a vigilante action movie which stars John Abraham, Manoj Bajpayee, Aisha Sharma, Amruta Khanvilkar,Tota Roy Chowdhury, Devdatta Nage. The Mastizaade director has help up to a serious topic this time which is corruption.
The yesterday released movie, Satyameva Jayate is a movie filled with action and thriller and a focused view to ” eliminate corruption”. The movie moves around John Abraham, who suffered from a trauma in his childhood, because of false allegations and humiliation the honored and self dedicated cop attempt suicide. That’s when the little Virendra AKA Veer develops hatred against corruption and corrupted cops. John as always owned his role and did his best and not only him but the whole cast has done a great job. The movie is fully packed with all the fighting scenes blood, fire and aggression which might give you shivers and goosebumps at the same time.
The movie clearly defines its genre and title which means “Truth alone triumphs”. The movie was made under the budget of 45 crores directed by Milap Zaveri and produced under the banners of T-Series and Emmay Entertainments. On its very first day at the Box Office the movie actually surprised everyone with its collection of 20.52 Crores which was a major hit. Not ignoring the fact that the movie wasn’t the only release that day. Satyameva Jayate started off with a clash at the Box Office with Akshay Kumar starrer movie Gold.
Both the movies have a lot of pre buzz but eventually Akshay won the 1st day collection. The movie might do better in the coming days compared to its 1st day. According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Satyamev Jayate is the 5th highest earning movie at the Box Office.
